Two people were killed in an explosion in a top-floor flat in the Spanish capital Madrid on Friday.
The victims, two men aged 21 and 27, were initially missing.
According to emergency services, they were working in the building.
Emergency services said on Twitter that 18 people were injured by falling glass and masonry in the blast in the four-storey apartment block.
One of the injured is in a life-threatening condition after falling into the backyard of the building.
A gas leak
The block in the well-off Salamanca district was badly damaged, with the top-floor apartment almost completely destroyed. Many parked cars were also damaged, television footage showed.
A gas leak is the most likely cause, according to authorities.
