Police in Norway are investigating whether a deadly shooting at an Oslo LGBTQ nightclub was related to terror, they said on Saturday morning, according to broadcaster NRK.
At least two people were killed and 21 injured in the incident, police said early on Saturday.
A person was arrested near the crime scene shortly after the incident, head of operations Tore Barstad was quoted by NRK. The perpetrator seemed to have acted alone, according to the information.
The LGBTQ nightclub is located in a popular street in the centre of Oslo.
Civilians assisted in the arrest of the suspect, the Aftenposten newspaper reported, citing the police.
Oslo's annual Pride parade was supposed to take place on Saturday, but was cancelled at short notice in the morning.
