The Norwegian government extended its coronavirus-related entry restrictions on Tuesday until 12 May.
This means that tourists from abroad will not be allowed into the country. Only Norwegians and foreigners registered in Norway are allowed to enter.
Although the Scandinavian country has a comparatively low infection rate, the entry rules are very strict.
Those who come back from an unnecessary trip abroad have to check into a quarantine hotel for a week at their own expense.
Even foreign family members, partners and business travellers are not permitted to enter in most cases.
In Norway, an average of 163 coronavirus cases per 100,000 inhabitants were registered in the last 14 days.
