Norway is easing its coronavirus restrictions for vaccinated and recovered people, Prime Minister Erna Solberg announced on Wednesday.
In addition to those who have been fully vaccinated, people who had their first jab more than three weeks ago and those who have had Covid-19 in the past six months are now considered protected.
In Norway, a country with a population of 5.4 million, almost 1.4 million people have received at least one Covid-19 vaccination so far. Around 380,000 have also already received a second dose.
Norway is also planning to present a first version of its coronavirus documentation system at the beginning of June, which could be used to register vaccinations, infections and negative tests, thus allowing protected people to attend certain events.
