Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has been selected to feature on a Swedish postal stamp due to go on sale on Thursday.
The 18-year-old was featured standing on a cliff in a yellow raincoat with swallows flying over her. It was illustrated by Henning Trollback.
The stamp was part of a set titled "Valuable Nature," focusing on the environment and environmental goals set by the Swedish parliament, postal services company PostNord said.
The other stamps in the series feature other habitats parliament has designated as important to protect, including mountains and mountain flora, forests, an agricultural landscape, an especially diverse type of marsh as well as a threatened species of toad.
"The designs should reflect our time where the environmental issue has been highlighted for years, not least through Greta Thunberg's strong voice," Stina Olofsdotter of PostNord Stamps said in a statement.
