Tourists who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 with the Russian-made Sputnik V jab will be able to travel to Greece without problem, a Greek minister said even though the European Union has yet to recognize it for the planned EU vaccine passport allowing travel in the bloc.
"Those who are vaccinated with Sputnik and show a vaccine certification will not have the slightest problem," Greek media cited Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias as saying on a Russia trip on Monday.
"A final decision will be made by the EU soon and this will be followed by Greece," added Dendias.
Entering Greece without having to quarantine is also possible for travelers who present a negative PCR test result for the virus.
