VfB Stuttgart player Atakan Karazor has been arrested during his holiday on the Spanish island of Ibiza, the Bundesliga club said on Saturday.
Stuttgart said in a brief statement that they are in contact with Karazor's lawyers and that the 25-year-old player "denies any criminal act."
The club did not say what offence Karazor is suspected to have committed, and added they won't comment further.
Ibiza police meanwhile said that two 25-year-old Germans were arrested. The not identified men are accused by a 18-year-old Spanish woman of having raped her.
The Spanish press reported that one of the detainees is the VfB Stuttgart soccer player.
