Russia can scarcely afford to drop further points after a 3-0 defeat against Belgium if they want to advance.
Finland and Italy can clinch the first berths in the last 16 at Euro 2020 on Wednesday as the groups start their second matchday.

The day's action starts in Group B where Russia host debutant Finland in St Petersburg.

Finland started with a 1-0 upset over Denmark in a match overshadowed by the cardiac arrest of Dane Christian Eriksen, and reach the knock-outs with victory as they would be guaranteed to advance as one of the best third-place teams.

And if the Danes don't beat group leaders Belgium on Thursday, they would secure an automatic place in the top two.

Italy-Switzerland

Coming off a tournament-opening 3-0 over Turkey, Roberto Mancini's Azzurri play Switzerland in Rome in Group A, after Turkey and Wales meet in Baku.

Italy are definitely through as a top-two finisher with a victory, regardless of the outcome of the other game.

They will also be group winners with victory if Turkey and Wales, who started 1-1 against the Swiss, draw.
