Finnish Viivi Lehikoinen failed in her bid for a place in the semifinals of the Women's 400m hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics.
With a record of 55.67, the Finnish athlete was only two hundredths behind Norway's Amalie Iuel, who was the last to achieve a place in the semifinals with 55.65.
Lehikoinen came to the competition with some physical problems that have weighed down her performance.
The semifinals will be held on Sunday.
