The number 86,148, which was mostly sold in Madrid, is the winner of El Gordo de Navidad (The Fat One), the first prize of the 2021 Spanish Christmas Lottery draw.
The lucky holders of the number 86,148 have won 400,000 euros per each 20-euro fraction (décimo, in Spanish) of the number.
The number was extracted from the lottery drum at 12:12 p.m., sung loudly and celebrated by Yanisse and Paula, the two girls of San Ildefonso school, who wept with joy.

In Madrid it was sold mainly in the Atocha high-speed railway station (AVE), so it is likely that it was bought by many tourists and travelers who have took it with them throughout the Spanish geography. It was also sold in another central lottery shop in the capital city.
But not only Madrid took the first prize. El Gordo winning tickets were also sold in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands), Santoña (Cantabria) and Ayamonte (Huelva).
