The Swedish cult band Abba has released a third song from their long-awaited new album 'Voyage.'
'Just A Notion' was available on Spotify and Youtube, among others, on Friday morning and delivers the classic Abba sound of the 1970s.
This is no coincidence, as the song is in fact originally from the pop group's great era: it was first recorded back in 1978, but Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anni-Frid had discarded it at the time.
For the new album it has now been taken up again.
The release of 'Just A Notion' follows the songs 'I Still Have Faith in You' and 'Don't Shut Me Down,' which Abba presented in early September - the first new Abba music in almost 40 years.
In the course of presenting the new album, the group from the far north had also announced a show with virtual representations of themselves - so-called Abbatars - in London as well as the new album 'Voyage.'
On sale in November
The album goes on sale on November 5 and will contain a total of 10 songs, including the three released so far.
'Don't Shut Me Down' has already been listened to more than 25 million times on Spotify, 'I Still Have Faith in You' more than 15 million times.
World hits like 'Dancing Queen,' 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!' and 'Mamma Mia' now have nine-digit listener numbers on the streaming provider.
