A young woman is suspected of committing "a grave endangerment of traffic safety" in Hämeenlinna on May 13, 2019 at highway Number 3 near Iittala.
According to a press release published by the Finnish Police on its website, a regular police patrol car circulated around the place when it was overtaken by a car at a "considerable" speed.
At the wheel there was a 35-year-old woman, who ran like there was no tomorrow in front of the police officers.
The police patrol turned its speedometer on and measured an average speed of about 190 km/h for some three kilometers, on a section of the road with a speed limit of 120 km/h.
The police imposed on the woman a temporary ban on driving.
On the other hand, two men are suspected of being guilty of drunken driving in Lahti and Forssa. One of them, the one that was intercepted in Forssa, resulted in 2.33 when blowing in the police breathalyzer, informed the police.
