Producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose by 8.1%, while the producer prices of export products went up by 9.2%.
The rise in the producer prices for manufactured products was particularly caused by higher prices of oil products, basic metals and electricity from last year's April.

The rise in the export price index was especially due to higher prices of oil products, basic metals, chemicals and chemical products from last year’s April.
The rise in the import price index was, in turn, especially caused by increased prices of crude oil and oil products and basic metals.
From March to April, producer prices for manufactured goods went up by 0.5%. Producer prices were particularly boosted by the risen prices of chemicals and chemical products compared with the previous month.
