Prime Minister Rinne to visit Moscow

Rinne will tell his colleague Dimitry Medvedev about the outcomes of Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Prime Minister Antti Rinne will meet the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on 25 November, informed today the Government Communications Department.

The key topics to be discussed are bilateral relations between the two countries, trade and environmental issues. Prime Minister Rinne will also tell his Russian colleague about the outcomes of Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Other items on the agenda are Finnish-Russian forest cooperation, transport, and questions relating to the Russian waste management sector. The Prime Ministers will also discuss topical international issues.

On his visit, Prime Minister Rinne will be accompanied by Minister of Transport and Communications Sanna Marin and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Jari Leppä.
