The police are investigating a school threat in Vantaa (north from Helsinki). The incident happened in a school in Korso.
According to the information released by the Easter Uusimaa Police Department, a message containing a photo of a gun and the text 'Korso shooting' has been reported.

The police think the message can be considered as "threatening". Therefore, the "necessary measures" to secure the area have been taken. By now, "no abnormal security activities have been identified" around the school, police said.
The case is being investigated as an illegal threat. The police warned that, according to the law, this kind of crime can be punished by a a fine or even imprisonment for up to two years and the confiscation of the technical equipment used to commit the threat.
