Adjusted for working days, output of the Finnish economy grew 9% in May 2021 from one year back, according to Statistics Finland's data.
In May, seasonally adjusted output grew by 0.4% from the month before. According to revised data, working day adjusted output grew in April 2021 by 7.1% (previously 6.4%) from April last year.
Working day adjusted primary production grew by around 7%. Secondary production increased by 5% and services by around 11% from May 2020.

Primary production refers to agriculture, hunting, forestry and fishing. Secondary production includes manufacturing and construction.
Services comprise trade, hotel and restaurant activities, transport and business activities, as well as real estate, renting and research services, financial intermediation and insurance, and public services.
