The Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) has renewed its image. Since this Monday, the Immigration authority shows a new, fresh logo and visual appearance that includes its name in Finnish, Swedish and also in English language.
The new look can be already seen at the institution's website, at the service points, and in social media.
Migri points out that if you are a customer you may still receive a letter with the Finnish Immigration Service's old look. This is because -as they explain- their materials will be updated gradually, and later this new visual appearance will also be on display in letters, Enter Finland services and forms.
"Every organisation occasionally reaches a phase when it also wants to show to outsiders that it has undergone a reform. The Finnish Immigration Service has now reached this phase. Its old wing logo has been good and effective for more than a decade, but now, as the agency has vastly expanded in terms of its duties and number of employees, it is the right time to adopt a new, fresh look," says Klaus Kaartinen, Director of Communications at the Finnish Immigration Service.
Migri's new look can also be checked on its Twitter account: @Maahanmuuttovir
