The service point of the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) at Käenkuja in Helsinki will be open from 9.00 to 15.00 on the following Saturdays: 5 December, 12 December, 19 December, 16 January, 23 January and 30 January.
According to Migri's customer bulletin, Saturday appointments can be booked in its appointment system every Tuesday of the same week.
"It is not possible to visit the service point with a queue number on Saturdays," the immigration agency stressed. Instead, customers must reserve an appointment.
Customers number limited
Due to the coronavirus epidemic, Migri will limit the number of customers in the waiting areas.
In practice, this means that people may have to wait for their turn longer than usual outside the premises. When inside, customers are encouraged to use hand sanitizer, keep a safe distance of 1–2 meters and use a face mask.
"Unfortunately, we cannot hand out masks to all customers who visit our service points," the immigration agency said.
