According to Statistics Finland, seasonally adjusted industrial output grew by 1.2% in June from the month before. And industrial output adjusted for working days was 2.6% higher in June 2019 than in June 2018.
Regarding this year's evolution, figures show that, adjusted for working days, industrial output went up by 1.9% in January to June compared to one year back.
Examined by main industry, seasonally adjusted industrial output grew most in June in the electrical and electronics industry, by 12.3%, in mining and quarrying, by 9.2% and in the metal industry, by 2.6%. Output decreased by 2.5% in the forest industry from the previous month.
