Immigration to Finland exceeded emigration by 14.574 people so far this year

The country's population continues to grow due to the arrival of immigrants.

The arrival in Finland of people from other countries to settle down is the key factor that allows the country to continue gaining population. This is clear from the latest data published this Friday by the Finnish Statistical Office, which confirm that until November Finland won almost 9,000 new inhabitants due to the positive migratory balance.

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,522,015 at the end of November. The country's population increased by 8,885 persons during the January-November period. The reason for the increase was migration gain from abroad, since immigration exceeded emigration by 14,574 persons. The number of births was 5,689 lower than that of deaths.
