Man reported as missing in South Karelia found alive by a citizen

Janne Berg, the man who was reported missing in Parikkala was found on Saturday 14 in Parikkala (east Finland).

He had been last seen on 6 September at approximately 18:00 in the evening in Parikkala, when he went into a dark blue Volkswagen passenger car. One week later, the police published a photo of him and asked for observations from the public.

According to a police press release, a citizen found him and informed the emergency center. Police suspect that he could get off the road with his car. He has been referred to a hospital.
