The Federal Chancellor of Austria Brigitte Bierlein will visit Helsinki on Monday 16 September, invited by Prime Minister Antti Rinne, informed today the Government Communications Department.
During the visit, Federal Chancellor Bierlein will also meet President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö.
The topics to be discussed by Federal Chancellor Bierlein and Prime Minister Rinne include current EU affairs, such as the objectives of Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, Brexit, possible enlargement of the EU to Western Balkans, and the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
Also on the agenda are climate change issues and migration.
