It was a day of nerves in the Coordination Center of the Finnish company Autio Partners in Rabat. Two delegates from the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki) moved there to make the entrance exam for the first 8 Moroccan students who dream of studying in Finland.
According to the promoters of the project, Akademia.fi, the students were divided in three groups and the exam lasted about two and a half hours. They are, mostly, young people interested in pursuing studies in Business Administration and Tourism.

The exam consisted of three different tests: the first was about reading a text or some study materials in English language, about which they had to answer a few questions later. The second part was a test of mathematics and logical thinking. The exam ended with a 20 minutes interview in English with the representatives of Haaga-Helia displaced to Rabat, the program manager Pasi Halmari and the Customer Relationship Manager Harri Hälvä.
The next step
According to the managers of Akademia.fi, in the interview the students were asked about their abilities, their motivation and the reason why they want to study in Finland.

The same sources explained that candidates will receive the next week a personal letter with the results of the tests. If they passed, they will get an admission letter which will entitle them to study in Finland. Then, after they pay the entrance fees, they will be able to apply for residence permits as students.
