One of the most interesting recent developments abouth this Covid-19 epidemic is that so far 4 teachers have been diagnosed with the disease. This has obliged to quarantine dozens of pupils across the country. Each infected teacher was working in a different part of Finland.
One teacher was from North Karelia, working at Kummu School in Outokumpu. The other was from Forssa, working at Wahren College. Another one was working at Lauttasaari primary school in Helsinki. All these three teachers visited North Italy recently and got infected.
The fourth person was from Kangasala (16 kilometers east of Tampere), working at Pitkäjärvi School. However, health authorities didn’t comment on whether the infection was originated in North Italy.
