At least 50 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus (koronavirus, in Finnish) disease in the past 24 hours, according to the latest list of Covid-19 cases released by the Finnish National Agency for Health and Welfare (THL, in its English acronym).
To date, 109 infections have been detected of Covid-19. And counting, because the virus is already circulating throughout the country and experts admit that more cases will be found in the coming weeks, until the epidemic reaches its peak and the situation stabilizes.
According to the latest figures released by THL, the new cases have been found in the following areas:

- 18 new cases in the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District.
- 17 new cases in the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District.
- 4 new cases in the Pirkanmaa Hospital District.
- 4 new cases in the district of Kanta-Häme.
- 2 new cases in the Hospital District of Southwest Finland
- 2 new cases in Satakunta Hospital District.
- 2 new cases in the Central Finland Hospital District.
- 1 new case in the Southern Ostrobothnia Hospital District.
Hospital districts and local health authorities will continue to investigate the situation with the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
