The coronavirus pandemic is continuing. Most of the European countries got some success to slow down Covid-19. However, Sweden still has some problems. In the first stage, Sweden never took precautionary measures similar to other countries.

Despite having more advanced the epidemic, the Swedish government and authorities have not gone as far as limiting the lives of citizens as the other Nordic countries. For that reason, numbers about new cases and deaths were higher in Sweden. On 29 June, Sweden had recorded 67,667 infections and 5,310 fatalities.

Therefore, Foreigner.fi asked the readers in a Twitter poll, “Do you think Finland should allow tourism to and from Sweden?”

In the poll, respondents were given two options, which were 'Yes' and 'No'.

The mini poll was answered by 66 readers and 87.9% of the readers think Finland should not allow tourism to and from Sweden. 12.1% voted ‘Yes'.

About the reader’s comments, one reader said, “Absolutely big NO. Finland has dealt very well with pandemic, while Swedish policy has resulted increase in cases. Opening border means, a frequent flow of people without screening. It will result failure of steps taken by Finnish government.”
