Finland has added 132 more cases of coronaviruses (koronavirus, in Finnish), bringing the total number of infections diagnosed to 2,308.
According to the updated figures released on Tuesday morning by the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), in Finland most infections affect middle-aged people.
Of the total of 2308 infected, 1,321 (or 57.2%) are between 30 and 59 years old.

Middle-aged and young adults
Contrary to what is happening in other countries, in Finland the number of diagnosed cases is not higher among the elderly, who are the main risk group in this crisis. According to THL report, in Finland, there are only 239 cases diagnosed among people over the age of 70 (10.2% of all infections found).
However, the country has a considerable number of young adults who have contracted the disease. According to THL, there are 760 people between the ages of 20 and 39 infected (33%). That is, one in three cases found in Finland are young adults.
Sex differences have practically disappeared in this epidemic. According to THL's report, 50.2% of those infected are men and 49.8% women.
