Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk on Saturday tweeted that he has "most likely" been infected with Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, though he has had several conflicting test results.
"Am getting wildly different results from different labs, but most likely I have a moderate case of Covid. My symptoms are that of a minor cold," the Tesla founder wrote on Twitter.
On Friday Musk wrote that he had received two positive test results and two negative for the virus.
"Something extremely bogus is going on," he said.
Criticized lockdowns
Musk had often downplayed the danger from the coronavirus and criticized measures such as the closure of stores and industry in California.
He disliked the fact that Tesla's main manufacturing plant near San Francisco had to remain closed. Musk also risked a confrontation with the authorities in order to speed up the production of electric cars there.
Almost 10.9 million people in the United States have been infected with the coronavirus, and more than 245,000 have died.
